So… Why Are We Closing?

Honestly? Because life is short and there’s still a very big world out there calling our names.

When I opened & Wolf Bridal back in 2018, I never imagined what it would grow into. What started as a “could I actually do this?” moment somehow turned into years of incredible brides, emotional mums, chaotic Saturdays, emergency steaming, endless snack consumption, and more wedding dresses than I can physically count

And the truth is… I still love it.

This isn’t one of those dramatic “the business is failing” stories. Nobody is turning the lights off while I sadly carry a mannequin into the rain. In fact, closing while I still love what I do feels like exactly the right way to do it.

But somewhere between bridal appointments, volunteering, caravanning adventures, travelling to far-flung places, and occasionally browsing luxury hotels I definitely don’t need, I realised something important:

There are only so many summers where we’re healthy, able, energetic, and free enough to properly go and enjoy life.

I’m Victoria—though I do answer to almost any version of this including Vickie, V, or simply “the lady'“ And at & Wolf Bridal, there’s no “us”—it’s all about me, working tirelessly to create something extraordinary just for you.

If I had to sum myself up in three words, I’d choose tenacious, passionate, and easy-going. (I still debate whether that hyphen turns two words into one, but I’m going with it for now) I’m dedicated to trying to be the best I can be and going above and beyond for you. And yet, I never lose sight of the importance of keeping things relaxed and grounded. Life is too short for unnecessary stress.

Founded in September 2018 my mission is simple: To build a genuinely down-to-earth space where everyone feels at home and comfortable. At & Wolf you will find a place to be yourself—a spot where you’re heard, encouraged, and looked after every step of the way.

So that’s what we’re going to do.

We want more road trips, more countries, more spontaneous adventures, more good food, more sunsets, more memories, and probably more arguing over airport luggage limits. We want to continue giving back through our volunteering work, spend more time doing the things we love, and say yes to opportunities while we still can.

& Wolf Bridal has been one of the biggest and best chapters of my life, and I’m ridiculously proud of what it became. But I also think there’s something quite lovely about ending a chapter because you’re excited for what comes next — not because you waited until you were forced to.

Until we close in July 2026, it’s very much business as usual here. The rails are still full of beautiful dresses, the kettle is still on, and I’m still here doing exactly what I’ve always done: helping brides find a wedding dress they absolutely love, without the pressure, fluff, or bridal nonsense.
