Introduction

Are you a bride-to-be embarking on the exciting journey of finding the perfect wedding dress? Are you worried about the appointment? Have you read tons of articles that haven't been written by a Bridal Shop and are now worried about what to expect?

If you have answered yes to any of these questions or want to know what will happen during your appointment with us, read on.

As you begin your search for the dress of your dreams, you might have a plethora of questions in mind. Fear not; we've compiled a comprehensive list of frequently asked questions (FAQs) and provided detailed answers to ensure your bridal experience with & Wolf is seamless and enjoyable. Let's dive in!

When should I book an appointment with & Wolf Bridal?

As soon as you are ready to say yes, then thats the time to book your bridal appointments. As a minimum, all we ask of our lovely nearly weds is that they have secured their venue, which will greatly influence the wedding dress you choose. For example, a wedding at Elmore Court in Gloucestershire may require a different style of wedding dress to a Chalk Barn in Wiltshire wedding.

In terms of timing, the perfect time to shop for your bridal gown is 12-15 months before the big day. This allows you enough time to visit 1 or 2 shops, say yes, wait for the dress to arrive and get your bridal alterations done without any stress or risk of dress regret.

How long does a bridal appointment usually last?

To ensure an unhurried and enjoyable experience, our bridal appointments last 90 minutes. This duration allows ample time for you to try on various gowns, ask questions, and make an informed decision so you can confidently say yes to the dress.

What sizes are available at & Wolf Bridal?

At & Wolf Bridal, our wedding dress samples are in sizes 8 to 18, but we can order up to a UK28.

At & Wolf Bridal, we strongly believe that every bride should feel beautiful and self-assured on her big day. We acknowledge that we need to enhance our product range to ensure greater size inclusivity. Therefore, starting with our purchases for 2024, we have committed to dedicating one-third of all sample orders for brides to try on to sizes 16 and above.

Can I bring guests to my appointment?

Absolutely! We encourage you to bring your loved ones and make your bridal appointment a memorable experience. However, to ensure a relaxed environment and provide personalised attention, we limit this to just three guests, with no exceptions, as our viewing area is compact and bijou. It is also worth remembering that sometimes, too many opinions can be overwhelming, so it's essential to strike a balance between your own preferences and the input of your trusted confidants. We genuinely find our brides have the best experience if it is just them, mum and one other.

Can I take photos during my appointment?

We understand that capturing the moments of trying on wedding dresses is essential for many brides. However, the best way to judge whether the wedding dress you are trying on is the one is the way that dress makes you feel, not the way you look in a crappy photo taken on a mobile phone, in a dress that doesn't fit, without the correct underwear, unstyled hair and no makeup. Pair that with poor lighting, and the dress that made you and everyone else cry doesn't stand a chance when you pour over the photos later on.

Having said all of that, we allow photos at the end of 'the one' or the 'I think it’s the one'.

What is the price range of wedding dresses at & Wolf Bridal?

Our wedding dress collections starts from £1,500, and prices may vary depending on the specific design, fabric, embellishments, and customisation options, but they go up to £4000. During your appointment, your stylist will guide you through the options and ensure you find a dress matching your budget and vision. Our wedding dress samples have the price inside them, and there is a price guide for all our designers on our website.

How far in advance should I order my wedding dress?

We recommend ordering your designer wedding dress at the latest 9 months before your wedding day, but ideally around 11-14 months. This allows ample time for production, delivery and alterations. However, if you have a shorter timeline, don't worry! We offer a selection of ready-to-wear wedding dresses and short-order bridal gowns from our bridal designers.
